Piner High School Graduation
[new!] Piner High School’s graduation will take place this evening (June 7) around 5:00 P.M. With an estimated attendance of over 3,000 people, significant traffic delays are expected along Fulton Road during the event. To avoid congestion, please consider avoiding the area during this time.Road Surface Repairs
[updated!] The contractor finished repairs in the two northbound (east side) lanes of Fulton Road and is currently waiting for the newly poured concrete to cure. The contractor will be back on-site next week to being diamond-grinding the newly installed road surface. This will remove any ridges, indentations, or other defects and ensure a smooth road surface. To accommodate this work, both directions of traffic along this section of Fulton Road have been moved to the southbound (west) side. The diamond-grind operation is expected last for one week.Once completed the contractor will begin working in the various intersections on Fulton Road between Piner Rd and Guerneville Rd. Details on possible night work and road detours associated with this work will be provided in next week’s newsletter. Note – all road removal and replacement is being completed at the expense of the contractor.
When traveling in and near the construction areas, be cautious and aware of work crews, flaggers, traffic control, rough roadways, special signage, and heavy equipment. Please be prepared for temporary traffic control measures throughout the work area.
