Intersection Work Upcoming
[updated!] The contractor is scheduled to work at the Piner Road intersection, the Wishing Well Lane intersection, and the Appletree Lane intersection on Friday, June 28. This will involve saw cutting, demolition, and pouring new concrete. To accommodate this work traffic has been shifted into the two northbound lanes from Piner Road to just north of Guerneville Road. During this work there may be temporarily limited access to driveways at some locations – the contractor will notify those residences where limited access is likely to occur.Starting Monday, July 1, the contractor will begin diamond grinding in the all of the intersections throughout the work zone was concrete was recently poured. Once completed, city staff will conduct a review of the road surface to ensure it meets the specifications within the contract. The contractor will not be on-site working on July 4 and July 5 in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
Please note that upcoming saw cutting in some areas may continue past normal work hours into the early evening, but not at night.
When traveling in and near the construction areas, be cautious and aware of work crews, flaggers, traffic control, rough roadways, special signage, and heavy equipment. Please be prepared for temporary traffic control measures throughout the work area.
